WHO IS FingFlo?

FingFlo operates from a 19th Century silk weaver’s cottage, behind a Sunday flower market in inner city London.

Every weekend FingFlo Things can be found at Broadway Market, where I sell silk and cotton scarves and accessories I’ve designed and made.

I used to be a news journalist - writing about murder and mayhem - now I have a quieter life spending my days creating colourful CityScapes and unique patterns. The weekends are spent on the vibrant street markets of East London.

I believe inspiration is everywhere, from shadows to TV shows, nature to heart break.

FingFlo’s EcoEthos

FingFlo prints limited numbers of each item and production is local to London. There’s a good ecological reason behind this.

Naturally we want our carbon footprint to be as small as it can be, and over production produces waste. FingFlo was created to produce high quality, fairly priced, beautiful accessories not land fill for higher margins.

Everything is printed on either 100% cotton, or 100% silk.
No synthetics
No polyesters
No plastics
Just naturally environmentally friendly fabrics that are totally and utterly biodegradable and recyclable - the way nature intended.

Our packaging is acid-free clear glassine bags, produced from pine trees and 100% biodegradable. One day I will create a box that is so beautiful you’ll never want to throw it away…

HOW is FingFlo?

Everything starts with an idea. A scribble, a doodle, a something in a sketch book, on an iPad, a sheet of paper.

Then away I go until I make something I’m happy with.

I like marker pens, Procreate and my own imagination.

One day I’m into dots, other days dashes, layers, broken views. On some days I like the idea of Japanese flowers falling through misty forests. Recently I’ve been into Squares…

In the beginning a smart and insightful person asked: “Is this all you can do? F***king Flowers?” We had a think about it and fought, well perhaps, perhaps not… but we liked F***king Flowers and so we became FingFlo.
